Interaction with Social Networks

It should be noted that in the context of any interaction process with the so-called "Social network" selected in advance by the Customer for importing the contents on the Service (s), Dotweb, on the basis of the settings and authorizations given autonomously by the Customer to the social network chosen by him, will import various types of content present on the customer’s account on the aforementioned social network.

When registering or connecting to a social network, the customer accepts permissions that authorize the importation of certain types of content. Based on the social networks, the permissions provided, and the presence or absence of the data, Swite can import the following categories of data.

Account information (Profile, Page, Channel)

Account Name, Description, Avatar Photo, Cover Photo, Contact Info (Address, Email, Phone Number), Opening Hours

User Uploaded Content

Photos, posts, tweets, video, events and or reviews that the Customer has uploaded to the connected social networks or uploaded on their feed (when the original author has consented to the export of that content)

Metadata about the content

Title, Description, link, Thumbnail photo, GeoTag, Playlist or Gallery that it belongs to

 

The aforementioned data is used exclusively for the creation and updating of the customer's website.

The Customer can always revoke the authorization directly on the connected social network platform, by following the links indicated in the first table above. The revocation of permissions blocks the importation of new content, but does not guarantee the deletion of all data already imported into Swite.

Deleting the imported data in Swite is possible through the following operations:

  • Disconnecting a social network from the "Social Connected" page; in this case, the data will be deleted and the authorization for a single social network will be revoked.
  • Deleting a site from the "Site Setup" page; in this case, the data will be deleted and the authorization for all social networks connected to the site will be revoked.
  • Deleting an account from the "Account Settings" page; in this case, the data will be deleted from all social networks
